The Pressa in Cologne in 1928 has been a topic in this blog before, as some relevant buildings were erected in preparation for it. Here is a publication that appeared as part of the exhibition and presents various German newspapers including their buildings. Not everything is Brick Expressionism. On the back of the publication there is a type specimen, which can be found on “Schriftmuster” (German).

Under the title “Neues Bauen in Hannover” there is already a book by Karl Elkart (German), published in 1929. This can be viewed in excerpts (German) at the “Digitales Stadtteilarchiv Linden-Limmer” (German). Here, however, this is the 1955 edition, which contains only interesting advertisements of relevance for this site.

Alongside many beautiful period woodcuts, there is also one of the Düsseldorf Planetarium, interestingly with a year printed next to it from a time when the planetarium had not even been built yet.

This book on the history of Dyckerhoff & Widmann also contains an illustration of the Hansahochhaus in Cologne.
